ENDRESS+HAUSER INAUGURATES A TRAINING CENTER IN BACH KHOA UNIVERSITY
To support Vietnam higher education, and tighten links between academia, industry, and enterprise as well, Endress+Hauser invested into a training center of instrumentation and process automation to Bach Khoa University (BKU), located at campus 2 of the University in Binh Duong province. The main purpose is to provide educational materials/ equipment to teach process automation and instrumentation technology in Vietnam.
On 9th November 2016, the opening ceremony of the Endress+Hauser training of instrumentation and process automation was took place at campus 2 in Bach Khoa University. The training center is equipped by Endress+Hauser with state-of-the-art technology for more than 200.000 US dollars.

Endress+Hauser and BKU were honored by the attendance of Mr Othmar Hardegger – General Consul from Swiss Consulate General, Mr Frank – Director Sales, Mr Di Palma – Business Development Manager from Endress+Hauser Switzerland, Endress+Hauser’s staff, partners, customers and BKU’s professors and members. The training center is designed in Endress+Hauser look and feel and offers 120 square meters of floor space.

Endress+Hauser is helping the University to develop the curriculum related to the topic in Vietnam. Students have the chance to experience state-of-the-art technology when they are in school. At the opening ceremony, Prof. Dr Vu Dinh Thanh – Rector of BKU also expressed his sincere thanks and congratulated Endress+Hauser. He hopes both sides will have more collaborative projects in the future in order to offer more practical benefits that may promote the Automation application in Vietnam.

The facility of training center
The training center is utilized for teaching students and training teachers, but also for Endress+Hauser staff, partners, and customers. Endress+Hauser offers customers training packages from basic to advanced level for flow, level, pressure, temperature, and analysis to our customers. “Training is a very vital part of the process. If we do not train our own people, we are not able to provide a customer with the support and service they need,” explained Rolf Leber, Head of Endress+Hauser in Vietnam.
