On November 26th, NK Engineering cooperated with Endress+Hauser – the global leader in measurement instrumentation, services and solutions for industrial process engineering, to organize a seminar in Chemical and Oil & Gas industries in Ho Chi Minh city. This is an annual activity that introduces customers the future-oriented measuring technologies and solutions in the constantly changing automation industry.

One of the key topics that many businesses are interested in is the Heartbeat technology and the Netilion ecosystem, presented by Mr. Gustavo – Industry Manager, Endress+Hauser Services AG. Heartbeat is an outstanding technology integrated in almost Endress+Hauser instruments. It diagnoses equipment failures, checks health status and monitors device performance without shutting down process. At the same time, thanks to IIoT ecosystem, engineers can easily analyze, evaluate and promptly solve urgent states.
An equally exciting topic is Transfer/ Storage/ Distribution Solutions in Chemical and Oil & Gas industries presented by Mr. Nguyen Huu Hanh – Regional Solution Business Manager (Endress+Hauser Asia Pacific Support Center). Mr. Hanh introduced the high-accuracy inventory management solution, the equipment with Radar technology has an accuracy of up to ±0.5mm and Proservo technology is ±0.4mm. In addition, custody metering skids were designed and certified according to API (American Petroleum Institute) or MID (Measuring Instrument Directive). Promass meter directly measure mass with an accuracy of ± 0.1% without maintenance. Promass meter directly measure mass with 0.1% accuracy without maintenance. Moreover, we also provide LPG ship loading-offloading on pipeline according to customer requirements.
After that, Ms. Qi Jiang – Area Manager (Endress+Hauser Conducta) provided information on liquid analysis products in the chemical industry, highlighted two new product lines: Liquiline Compact CM72/CM82 and Liquiline Control CDC90. Liquiline Compact CM72/CM82 are the smallest transmitters for Memosens sensors, suitable for space-restricted installation locations, directly connected to the sensor using Memosens technology without connection cables. They are 2-wire transmitter for applications in explosion-zone and user-friendly operation via mobile devices plus all advantages of the digital Memosens technology (100% secure data transmission, use of pre-calibrated sensors, etc.)
Finally, Ms. Nguyen Thanh Tuyen – BDM of NK Engineering presented the water/wastewater monitoring system – one of our focus solutions. According to the Decree 40 of the Government (Amending and supplementing the Law on Environmental Protection), factories and business of the type of production which are likely to cause environmental pollution and have a discharge scale of 500m3/day (24h) or more must perform automatic and continuous wastewater quality monitoring. The parameters of automatic and continuous wastewater monitoring include: flow (input and output), temperature, pH, TSS, COD, amonia. By combining the Endress+Hauser instruments, NK Engineering provides the market with optimal wastewater monitoring solution for each plant according to industry-specific characteristics and fully meets the stringent requirements set by Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment. Also, we provide deep well groundwater monitoring solution to meet the Circular No. 47/2017/TT-BTNMT of MONRE.
