NK Engineering upgraded the interface measurement function for FMP54 sensor

Recently, our engineer and refinery engineers have configured and upgraded the interface measurement function for FMP54 sensor at a refinery in Vietnam to measure oil and water levels in tanks. After upgrading, the device gives accurate level measurement results, ensuring that the pump control signal runs according to the factory requirements.

Outstanding features of the FMP54 device from Endress+Hauser:
✔ Used in applications to measure the level of water in oil, gasoline, LPG, or caustic level in hydrocarbons and applications to measure the level of gasoline, oil, water, and wastewater.
✔ Continuous level measurement of liquids or solids using the guiding Radar principle, unaffected by the characteristics of the medium.
✔ Capable of measuring the interface between two liquid layers.

  • Working temperature: max 450°C.
  • Working pressure: max 400 bar.
  • Accuracy: ±2mm

✔ Reliable measurement in case of moving surface and foam or in changing medias.
✔ International explosion protection certificates, overfill prevention WHG, SIL, marine approval, steam boiler approval, 5-point linearity protocol
✔ HistoROM data management concept for fast and easy commissioning, maintenance, and diagnostics
✔ Heartbeat Technology for a cost-effective and safe plant operation during the entire life cycle
✔ Seamless integration into control or asset management systems and intuitive, menu-guided operation concept (on-site or via the control system)
