The continuous emission monitoring system provided by NK Engineering fully complies with the requirements of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment’s Circular. It continuously monitors discharge flow rate, dust concentration, NOx, SO2, CO, O2 levels, and automatically transmits data to the Department of Natural Resources and Environment.

Overview of Emission Monitoring Solutions

The Continuous Emission Monitoring System (CEMs) provided by NK Engineering is designed for online, continuous monitoring of critical environmental parameters directly at the emission source, including flow rate, temperature, pressure, excess O₂, total dust, SO₂, NOx, CO and more. Data is transmitted directly to regulatory authorities via a web server, ensuring transparency and full compliance with current regulations. All monitoring equipment is certified by international organizations such as the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA), the UK Monitoring Certification Scheme (mCERTs), and the German Technical Inspection Association (TUV), among others.

Our solution is developed based on strict compliance with the latest regulations of Vietnamese law:

    • Decree 08/2022/ND-CP requires manufacturing facilities listed in the regulated category to install automatic, continuous emission monitoring systems with data transmission connectivity to the Department of Natural Resources and Environment.
    • Circular 10/2021/TT-BTNMT provides detailed regulations on technical specifications, installation methods, calibration, and data transmission of the monitoring systems.

The Continuous Emission Monitoring System (CEMS) provided by NK Engineering integrates state-of-the-art measurement and gas analysis instruments from Endress+Hauser SICK. The solution meets strict requirements for accuracy and reliability while ensuring full compliance with industrial emission monitoring standards:

1. PowerCEMS100 Multi-Component Gas Analyzer System

Performs continuous measurement of O₂, SO₂, NOx, CO và CO₂ parameters using the extractive sampling method, delivering high-precision and stable measurement results. Fully certified under international standards such as EN 15267, EN 14181, and MCERTS, satisfying all regulatory demands for automated CEMS.

2. DUSTHUNTER Total Dust Monitor

Measures dust concentration in-situ directly in the stack based on the transmittance principle. Designed for operation in high-temperature environments up to 600°C, it withstands harsh operating conditions while offering an installation- and maintenance-friendly design.

3. FLOWSIC100 Ultrasonic Flue Gas Flowmeter

Utilizes ultrasonic technology for direct in-situ stack gas flow measurement at temperatures up to 450°C. Featuring solid titanium transducers, it offers exceptional corrosion resistance with zero pressure drop across the duct, and holds certifications including EN 15267, EN 14181, EN 16911-2, and MCERTS.

4. Temperature and Pressure Transmitters

Provides continuous monitoring of flue gas temperature and pressure, delivering real-time data to support gas volume flow calculation and normalization according to technical specifications.

5. Data Acquisition and Handling System (Datalogger)

Automatically collects, stores, and transmits monitoring data to regulatory authorities via FTP protocol. Supports data logging for over 60 days and integrates standard Ethernet and USB ports for seamless data management and retrieval.

6. Calibration Gas System

Supplies reference calibration gases for routine zero/span checks and calibration of gas analyzers in compliance with Circular 10/2021/TT-BTNMT, maintaining long-term measurement accuracy and system reliability.

7. Control Cabinet & Shelter House

Comprises control panels, UPS systems, power distribution cabinets, and auxiliary equipment including CCTV surveillance, smoke and fire detection systems, as well as direct and surge lightning protection—ensuring stable, safe, and continuous system operation.

    • Survey & Consultation: Assess emission sources, select measurement points (in-situ/extractive), and determine parameter list according to the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA).
