Interface Measurement Solution for Oil and Gas Applications
Recently, NK Engineering engineers collaborated with plant engineers to configure and upgrade the interface measurement function for an FMP54 sensor at a Vietnamese oil refinery. This upgrade enables the sensor to measure the oil and water levels in a tank. Following the upgrade, the device delivers accurate level readings, ensuring that pump control signals operate precisely as required by the plant.
Outstanding features of the Levelflex FMP54 guided radar level measurement from Endress+Hauser:
Used for interface measurement applications such as water level in oil, gasoline, LPG, or caustic level in hydrocarbons, as well as for level measurement of gasoline, oil, water, and wastewater.
Provides continuous level measurement for liquids or solids using guided radar technology, unaffected by medium characteristics.
Capable of measuring the interface between two liquid layers.
